Touring again in 2025 after a long hiatus was surreal. Houston and L.A. were the first stages I returned to, and stepping back into that world came with a mix of anxiety and clarity.
What helped me most wasn’t more practice — it was perspective.
When things get overwhelming, I go to places where I feel small — open fields, places without walls or noise. That feeling of insignificance, ironically, brings peace. It helps reset what matters. Because sometimes, we give too much power to stress when the actual issue is smaller than we think.
Mental health isn’t linear. Sobriety isn’t either. But choosing to stay curious, creative, and present — that’s where I find progress.
These days, I don't push myself to create just to stay busy. I step away. I let silence speak. And when I come back, I remember why I started.
