Born in Arlington, Texas, Forrest LeMaire — better known as Mr.Kitty — started making music at home before he ever believed it was possible. Fueled by late-night radio sets and an early obsession with trance and breakcore, he stumbled into music production in his teens, discovering FL Studio through a Cakewalk installation disc. That night in 2003 sparked a lifelong pursuit.

Blending genres like darkwave, synthpop, and witch house, Mr.Kitty is known for haunting melodies, emotional lyricism, and lo-fi nostalgia. His breakout song After Dark gained massive traction in 2019, and again in 2021, thanks to a fan-made video and viral TikTok trend — all built on music produced in a kitchen with no major label machine behind it.

Beyond the music, Forrest is an advocate for mental health, sobriety, and self-reinvention. He has been through the depths and come out focused on healing, creativity, and truth. Whether he's remixing for artists like IAMX and Aesthetic Perfection, or performing to crowds in Houston and L.A., Mr.Kitty continues to evolve — with the same DIY spirit and a computer that’s been with him since he was 18.
